tong shui cafe

another of my supper hang-outs, which i haven’t been to for a month already (updated: been there twice in the last week).

we are there so often that uncle recognizes us. the one at zion road that is. well, what’s good there is that the food there is good and we get to watch corny, funny hongkong movies. which i hope some never made it to screen, cause they’re really full of crap.

having supper there is indeed a little pricier than the average prata place, but, if u have a craving for soupy instant noodles, or thick toast, this is the place to go. the milk tea here is good too, and the guys say that the yuanyang’s the best.

what are the things we’ve repeatedly order:

milk tea
yuanyang
hk noodles with chicken/pork chop
thick toast with peanut butter
mango prawns
baked rice (it has loads of cheese)
chicken chop burger

even though it does have an extensive menu, we’ve not been a fan of the desserts there, nor the hot drinks.

go there sometime! it’s good! open till 6am!
